| dc.description.abstract | The study examines the role of the role of learning and development initiatives on job satisfaction. A case study of future links technologies limited. Study objectives were as follows; to assess how employee training and skill development has influenced job satisfaction in future links technologies limited, to assess the influence of employee engagement on job satisfaction in future links technologies limited and find out the influence of employee’s feedback on job satisfaction in future links technologies limited. A step-bystep plan of action that gives direction to the researcher’s thought process and a descriptive research strategy was considered to examine the factors influencing the the role of learning and development initiativess and job satisfaction in the organizations. The study sampled 137 employees out of a population 200 employees of future link technologies. Key respondents included; Board of the Organization, Technical Staff and Casual Laborers. The board was selected using census sampling while causal laborers and technical staff were selected using simple random. The researcher used two basic instruments and these were; questionnaire and interview guide. Validity score obtained were 0.96 and relaibility score obtained was .92. Following the results as obtained, analyzed, interpreted and discussed, it was noted that a strong positive and statistically significant influence between Employee Training and Skill Development in Future Links Technologies Limited was obtained as indicated by (r = .568, n= 130, P=0.000<.05). It was noted that when employees feel supported in their professional development, they are more likely to see long-term career prospects within the organization, further contributing to job satisfaction. It was noted that a positive and statistically significant relationship between Employee Engagement and Job Satisfaction in Future Links Technologies Limited was obtained (r = .988, n= 130, P=0.000<.05). It was noted that engaged employees are more likely to seek out opportunities for growth and improvement, further enhancing their skills and expertise. A positive and statistically significant influence between employee’s feedback on job satisfaction in future links technologies limited was obtained as (r = .993, n= 130, P=0.000<.05). This meant that there is a positive and significant influence between employee feedback and job satisfactions of employees hence rejecting the null hypothesis. This is because feedback helps employees understand how well they are performing in their roles, highlights areas of strength and identified opportunities for improvement. It is concluded that employee Training and Skill Development, employee engagement and employee’s feedback is statistically and significantly correlated to job satisfaction in future links technologies limited. It is however recommended that there is need for future links to invent modern e-learning platforms that offer flexible and scalable learning opportunities. This allows employees to access courses at their own pace and revisit materials as needed. Provide ongoing support and follow-up sessions to ensure employees can apply what they’ve learned and to address any challenges they encounter post-training. Future Links needs to implement a recognition program to reward employees for outstanding performance. | |
